"Dog Days of Summer" -Discounted Adoptions for the month of August

In celebration of the “Dog Days of Summer,” the Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center will offer discounted adoptions throughout the month of August. The normal adoption fees of $137 for a dog and $140 for a cat will be reduced to $65 and include free neuter or spay, vaccinations, microchip, license, heartworm test, flea and fecal.
