Paint Patchogue Purple for Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month

If you have been in Patchogue recently, we are sure you have noticed the purple ribbons located around town. The Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce has partnered with local businesses and elected officials to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease. Patchogue has "gone purple" from June 16th through the 30th  to support local families affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

Approximately 30 local businesses are participating by decorating their storefronts and stores with purple ribbons which were donated by the Village Walk.  Businesses will be offering specials on purple items in their stores and raising funds with point of sale campaigns to support The Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce Walk team.  The walk will be held on Saturday, September 28th in Yaphank and all proceeds fund efforts to help end Alzheimer's and other dementia's.
