Welcome Pauly's Market & Butchery! Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Highlights

Yesterday Saturday, June 15th, we had a great time attending the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of Pauly's Market & Butchery.  Located in the old Cow Palace location across from Walgreens on River Ave, it is owner Paul Archiero's first storefront business.  The weather was perfect for this community event which featured music, games, giveaways and fresh grilled burgers and dogs courtesy of celebrity chef Greg Adams and The Big Daaawg.  Discounts were also given on all in store purchases made during the event.  We had the pleasure of speaking with Paul about his new business, and what brought him to Patchogue. An architect by trade and father of two who had been working from home and in the field for the past several years, Paul had been daydreaming about getting "out of the office" and doing something different with his life.   Butchery has been part of his life for as long as he can remember.  Being a member of the original Cow Palace family, he learned all he knows while working part time there during his architecture college years.  When he learned that the location was available, he could not let the opportunity pass him by. Paul's son has been working alongside him since the beginning, but he also noted that gets lots of help from his sisters, cousins and nephews too, making this a truly family-run operation. Pauly's will specialize in offering top quality meats and products.  That includes Waygu beef, of which they are one of a few locations to offer, a large all prime beef hero, and the 2 foot wagyu hot dog, The Big Daaawg.  Weekly specials will also be offered.  In the future, Paul also hopes to bring fresh local Long Island produce closer to Patchogue through partnerships with organic East End farmers.  Paul said "I want to be known as not only a prime butcher but also as a market with fresh local produce.  I am working on several partnerships that will bring East End organic produce closer to area consumers." We are thrilled that we were able to join in on the celebration and grand opening of this new community market and butchery and wish Paul, his family, and Pauly's Market & Butchery great success!
