Although forecasts for rain in the afternoon postponed many of today's planned celebrations, the weather held long enough to allow the 2018 Sayville Holiday Parade to go off without a hitch. People lined the sidewalks as local groups marched down Main Street in their most festive holiday attire. After the parade, kids and families stuck around for a variety of free holiday activities such as an ice skating rink, carousel rides, and pictures with the big guy himself - Santa!
