Academy Street Elementary School Students Spread Holiday Cheer

Academy Street Elementary School students spread holiday cheer Students from Nancy Celentano’s kindergarten class and fourth-graders from Carrie Almskog’s class at Academy Street Elementary School recently put on a wonderful performance of the Charles Dickens classic holiday novella “A Christmas Carol” for parents and the school community on Dec. 13. In addition to the top-notch acting skills displayed by the students, the production also featured musical performances such as “Scrooge,” “Deck the Halls” and “Thankful Heart.” “The fourth-graders came into our classroom to help us rehearse and sing the songs from the play, it was really fun,” said kindergartners Adam Lasky and Beatrix Castka.
