Patchogue’s Alive on the River festivals starts tonight, June 6th with its Salute the Soldiers theme!
Hosted by the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce’s Riverfront Committee, this is the festivals second year. The concept for Alive on the River was developed in order to familiarize locals and others on LI to the amazing restaurants and bars along the Patchogue riverfront.
Here is the complete Alive on the River schedule and the themes for each week:
- TONIGHT- June 6th: Salute the Soldiers
- June 20th: Summer Solstice
- July 18th: Mardis Gras on the River
- August 1st: Reggae Sun Splash
- August 15th: Howl at the Moon
- August 29th: Luau on the River
During each event, participating locations will have live music and offer theme related drink specials. Drift 82, The Oar, Off Key Tikki , Dublin Deck and the Harbor Crab Co. will have no cover charge beginning at 5 p.m. (Dublin Deck cover charge resumes at 8 p.m.)
Water taxis by Fire Island Ferries will be available for transport along the river front, making stops at the participating restaurants and at Island View Marina. $10 for unlimited rides between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.
