Fry Daddy's Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On Saturday December 1st , Patchogue-Medford High School alum and local resident Sean Abrams celebrated the Grand Opening of his gourmet eatery, Fry Daddy’s. The eatery has operated out of a food truck for years, and has a long running history of serving deep-fried deliciousness to its patrons.  Local patron and Fry Daddy fan, Dan Manzella, who was in attendance for the opening said, "I first tried them out at the food truck rally over the summer, it's awesome that they finally have a location now." The new restaurant is located at 58 South Ocean Avenue across from Taiko 360 and James Joyce.  The 1,200 square foot space is laid out well with seating for up to 26 patrons. The menu features all the favorite fried items from the food truck and will also include burgers and chopped salads. Burgers are prepared fresh onsite with meat delivered daily from Chubb's Meats which is in Medford. Fry Daddy’s is open seven days a week and late-night menus on Friday and Saturday “nights” will include unique fried and traditional breakfast options. Hours of operation are: Monday – Wednesday 10:30 am- 9 pm, Thursday from 10:30 am to 10 pm, Friday and Saturday 10:30 am-2:30 am and Sunday 11 am-7 pm. Here are some shots from Saturday afternoon's ribbon cutting ceremony.  Pictured are owner Sean Abrams, Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce Director Dave Kennedy, and Town Councilman Neil Foley.
