Brookhaven Officials Attend LGBT Network Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Farmingville, NY – On May 31, Councilman Michael Loguercio (second from left), Town Clerk Donna Lent (center), Councilwoman Valerie Cartright (fourth from right) and Councilman Neil Foley (right) joined the LGBT Network of Hauppauge for the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony at their new 15,000 square foot center located at 125 Kennedy Drive in Hauppauge. The new center will feature 7,500 square foot community space including:
- A café and workforce development program for young people.
- Meeting and conference facilities with the latest technology and audio-visual equipment.
- Expanded health, human services and support programs including drop-in HIV testing 5 days a week.
- A new initiative for LGBT-headed families, LGBT Immigrants and more.
