Town to Hold 8th Annual Job Fair at Town Hall on Thursday, June 13
Businesses can register online now for recruitment table discount
Farmingville, NY – The Town of Brookhaven’s Division of Economic Development and Brookhaven Business Advisory Council will host the 8th annual Job Fair at Brookhaven Town Hall on June 13 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Last year, more than 300 residents attended the Job Fair that featured 98 employers. The event provides job hunters with the opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives from companies in and around Brookhaven who were looking to hire qualified candidates for a wide range of positions. Businesses are encouraged to call the Town of Brookhaven’s Office of Economic Development or register online to reserve a recruitment table. The fee is $75 for employers who reserve before May 1; $100 after May 1. Brookhaven Town Hall is located at One Independence Hill in Farmingville. Call 631-451-6563 for more information.
About the BBAC
The BBAC serves as the business liaison to the Supervisor and Town Board. The council is comprised of business owners and professionals who serve on a volunteer basis. The Council’s key function is to assist Town government by disseminating information to and from the business communities. They also help to compile information on business in Brookhaven Town, and develop and implement public information programs to educate the business community regarding outreach programs and assistance available to them.
