After the postponement/cancellation of several holiday events this year, the rain has once again forced town officials to cancel tonight's Midnight on Main St Event. Two Winners for the "30 Days of Dining" Raffle will still be chosen at 5pm.

For those looking to brave the rain and get out and celebrate, the bars and restaurants will still be open along Main Street. Check our calendar for other local events tonight, such as New Year's Eve Bash At Sunset Harbour.

Join us to help welcome the New Year at Long Island’s only New Year’s Eve ball ceremony! Patchogues Midnight on Main is a family friendly New Year’s Eve celebration hosted by the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce. This year’s Midnight on Main St. will kick off at 7 p.m. in Patchogue Village, on West Avenue and West Main Street, in front of the new location of the Blue Point Brewery. The event will include a DJ playing music throughout the night to keep the crowd dancing in the street. People attending will receive free party hats, noise makers and even hot beverages to help keep warm. 2019 will be welcomed at 9 p.m. with an illuminated ball that will rise from Capital One Plaza followed by a grand display of fireworks set off by Grucci Illuminations.
