After being rescheduled twice due to forecasts of rain, and despite gray skies and light showers throughout the day, the 56th Annual Patchogue Christmas Parade marched down Main Street Friday night. Local residents proved the weather could not "rain on their parade" as hundreds lined up to watch the festive procession and welcome Santa to Patchogue. Using decorations and music inspired by their favorite holiday specials, there were over 60 participants marching along to the "Christmas At The Movies" parade theme. From the old-fashioned "It's A Wonderful Life" cars, down to The Grinch floats, here are some highlight photos from the event.
